Every home presents its own unique challenges, and this recent radon mitigation project in Spearfish, South Dakota was no exception. Built on a slab foundation with in-floor radiant heat, this home required careful planning before a single hole could be drilled. Protecting the homeowner’s heating system was just as important as designing an effective radon mitigation system.
Using a FLIR thermal imaging camera, our team was able to safely locate the hidden radiant heating tubes beneath the concrete slab and identify the ideal suction point. Combined with thoughtful system routing and professional post-installation testing using a RadStar Continuous Radon Monitor (CRM), this project highlights the attention to detail and craftsmanship that goes into every ALO Radon installation.
